The British have done it again!  After first blessing the American music scene in the 1960's with legendary groups such as The Beatles and the Rolling Stones in an era that would be dubbed "the British Invasion", Now, some forty years later, a new generation of young British artists, again inspired by American R&B, is rising to the top of the charts yet again, but with a bit of a twist.  This time around, the field is not dominated by English blokes like Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton-- great talents in their own right and true legends to boot-- but it also includes black Britons such as Leona Lewis and Estelle and women, like Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen are leading the charge.  Recently, albeit later than the rest of the crowd, I discovered Adele, the now 20 year old British sensation, who awed me and about 17 million other people last fall as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.  Fresh off a grammy win for her debut album (Best New Artist & Best Female Pop Vocalist), 19 (inspired by her age at the time of recording), Adele is the studio cutting her second album, which I am sure will be a hit!
